London Marathon 2009 Diary

 

This is my own diary of my build up to the 2009 London Marathon. It starts with a summary of the first 8 weeks and then follows on at weekly intervals highlighting the training and injuries in the build up to the day itself. This is truly the best achievement of my life and, after my family, is the proudest moment of my life. The feeling and memories of crossing that line will stay with me forever. I hope to be lucky to do it again one day but if not at least I can say I did it and enjoyed it.
